At a farm in Neve Yamin, Israel, Newcastle Disease (NCD) has been found. It concerned a commercial egg type layers with 2,300 birds.
The farm, housing a forty-one-week-old table egg layers had a history of egg drop with low mortality. The origin of the disease seem to be from Qalqilya (Palestinian authority) were an outbreak was reported 3 weeks ago.
