Eggs contaminated with salmonella were sold to restaurants and food service companies in Quebec and distributed to a charity food organization that put them in Christmas baskets, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency warns.
The eggs were imported from the United States.
There have been no reports of anyone in Quebec becoming sick from eating contaminated eggs.
