CDPH issues warning on raw milk after bird flu

Now it’s no longer a coincidence. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has issued a second warning to Californians advising against the consumption of raw milk produced and packaged by Raw Farm, LLC of Fresno County due to the detection of the bird flu virus in a second retail sample. At the state’s request, the company has initiated a voluntary recall of the affected milk. The first case involved whole raw milk from the same company, which led to a voluntary recall on November 24.
