Canada: massive egg recall

10 October, 2020

Hilly Acres Farm is recalling eggs from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination. This recall was triggered by the company test results.
The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. The recall affects markets in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. They include brands like Farmer John Eyking, Compliments, no name, Great Value, and Maritime Pride.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
