EU Poultry Meat Market Update

Based on the latest DG AGRI Poultry Meat Dashboard (19 November 2025), the European Union broiler sector is characterised by firm prices, stable production growth and shifting trade dynamics. Broiler prices remain elevated at €290.76/100 kg, a level approximately 4.6% higher than a year earlier. Production structure remains unchanged, with broiler meat representing 83.8% and turkeys 11.9% of total EU poultry output.
Poland remains the leading producer with 2.89 million tonnes, followed by Spain, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands; these six Member States account for 73% of EU poultry meat output.
Imports rose significantly, up 8.2% in the same period, driven mainly by Brazil (+15%), Thailand (+16.6%) and China (+39.2%).
