Manifesto calls for greater support of British Eggs

The British Egg Industry Council (BEIC) is advocating for increased support of British eggs, particularly in food products manufactured within the UK.
A new manifesto, presented in an eight-page booklet titled "Eggcellence," calls for food businesses to cease the use of imported eggs in British-made foods, to mandate clear labeling of egg origin, to prohibit the use of the Union Flag on products containing non-British eggs, and to deprioritize companies that utilize imported eggs in products intended for government public procurement.
