KFC UK Targets 35% British Sourcing by Year-End

KFC UK & Ireland has announced a significant £10 million increase in its annual investment in British poultry, bringing its total domestic spend to nearly £100 million for 2026.
This strategic expansion aims to raise the proportion of British-sourced chicken to 35% of the brand’s total volume by the end of the year. A cornerstone of this commitment is a new partnership with 2 Sisters Food Group, which will see KFC transition its entire supply of chicken wings to British farms for the first time. However, the company noted that a shortage of domestic supply for chicken breast meat means boneless products will continue to rely on imports.
